About your work at Convins....
What is your position & What does an average workday at Convins look like?
Within Convins, I am working as an IT Acquisitor/Commercial assistant inside sales. My job is to schedule B2B visit appointments for the account managers of reputable IT parties.
At the start of my workday, I grab a cup of coffee and first check the project overview to see which projects I can start calling on today. The companies I approach throughout the day are very diverse, from IKEA to Klaverblad Insurance; there are many "big boys" among them. I search on LinkedIn for the right DMU/stakeholder for the IT project in question and try to schedule a visit appointment with them based on the agreed criteria.
During the working day, I regularly have call appointments in my calendar with prospects I have spoken to before, for example, and promised to call back within a certain time frame. This way I build long-term contacts and can have a more personal conversation. At 12:30 it is then time for a healthy (& especially protein-rich) lunch and I catch up with colleagues. After that, I keep on calling hard!
When I've set an appointment, it's time to hit the bell! I then write a substantive appointment text for the relevant account manager and book my appointment. This actually repeats itself constantly, however, no day at Convins is the same and I continue to develop myself.
What do you enjoy most about your position at Convins?
What I like most about my job is that I talk to people who are actually looking for the services/solutions I call for. A win-win situation.
How do you experience the team at Convins?
It is a very cozy, fun and especially young team that I get along with very well. I also like the fact that outside working hours there are fun things to do with each other.
Now something more personal...
What are your hobbies?
In my spare time I exercise a lot; I go to the gym and kickbox 3x a week. I also enjoy going out or eating out somewhere once in a while.
What is your work background?
Before joining Convins, I worked in the hospitality industry, in the kitchen, for a very long time. Something completely different, but I'm glad I took this step!
What are your dreams/ambitions?
My ambitions are to go into brokerage, very different from what I am currently doing. However, both are in the commercial corner; at Convins I am learning enough skills that will come in handy there again.
Which 2 items would you take with you to a desert island?
What I definitely take with me to a desert island is my phone and a solar-powered power bank.

Suppose you get to pick one workout for the rest of your life, which one will you choose and why?
If I had to pick one workout for the rest of my life, I would choose kickboxing. There's everything in there: Conditioning, strength, technique. Besides, with kickboxing you are really challenged to go to the limit.
